Dear partners and users,
I would like to announce an important decision regarding the GRSBA (Generalized RSBA) algorithm license. After careful consideration and reflection, I have decided that as of June 27, 2024, the clause allowing free testing will be revoked.
Reasons for the Decision:
- Dignity and Valuation of Work: The development of the GRSBA involved significant investment of time, effort, and expertise. It is crucial that this work is properly valued and respected. Maintaining the free testing clause without proper financial recognition compromises the dignity and fair compensation for the work done.
- Royalty Agreements: The GRSBA license was granted with the expectation of receiving royalties as compensation for the use of the algorithm. Unfortunately, to date, these royalties have not been paid as agreed. The failure to meet this financial obligation is a violation of the established terms and an injustice that cannot be ignored.
- Legal Reasons: Legally, I have the right to revoke the license and adjust the terms of use for the GRSBA. This decision is a necessary step to protect my intellectual property rights and ensure that the algorithm is used fairly and ethically. Revoking the free testing clause is a measure to ensure that any future use of the GRSBA is appropriately compensated.
Next Steps: As of June 27, 2024, any use of the GRSBA must be pre-authorized and subject to new licensing terms. I am willing to renegotiate the terms of use for the algorithm with interested partners, ensuring that both sides are duly respected and benefited.
Thank you for your understanding, and I am available to clarify any questions or discuss new licensing terms.
Sincerely,
Felipe Maya Muniz
